Driving Directions from Lihue Airport:

Take Highway 56 towards Kapa'a (a right turn after you leave the airport).  Follow Highway 56 through Wailua, Kapa'a, and Anahola, until you reach Kilauea.  There are three roads into central Kilauea, (1) Pili, (2) Ho'oku'i and (3) Kilauea Road.  I recommend you take the second one, which is Ho'oku'i, because it is the most direct route coming from the airport direction.

The street sign for Pili Road may be missing, so watch for a speed limit sign advising a reduced speed limit of 40 mph ahead, and then another speed limit sign for 40 mph.  Ho'oku'i Road is right after that.

From the highway, turn RIGHT onto Ho'oku'i, then LEFT onto Kolo Road.  After crossing a new bridge, turn RIGHT onto Liliuokalani Street.  The house (#2330) is about two blocks up Liliuokalani, on the left-hand side of the street.  There is a low lava rock wall with bushes growing behind it at the front of the property.  The house numbers, 2330, are on the front of the house.
